Perfect Love: Baby Steps
Sunday Jul 03, 2022
Sunday Jul 03, 2022
Poets have written thousands of verses about perfect love, while knowing it doesn’t exist. Or does it? What if, perfect love does not come from others, but from within ourselves? What if it is planted there by God? Join us Sunday morning to consider these questions, worship, sing, pray, and enjoy friendship.

Perfect love: Entire Sanctification?
Monday Jun 27, 2022
Monday Jun 27, 2022
Is entire sanctification possible? Yes! Sanctification isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being totally devoted to the LORD — caring more about the LORD’s agenda than your own. How can you achieve perfect love, and what are the signs of success? Being a perfect Christian is not the goal; being like Christ is the goal.

Perfect Love: Man Up!
Wednesday Jun 22, 2022
Wednesday Jun 22, 2022
It's Fathers day weekend at Shiloh. This week Pastor Dan will continue the theme of "Perfect Love" with a special message called "Man Up!" Sometimes men need to stake themselves out and raise a permeant marker to remind them of their God-given duties. You have to be reminded of who is really in charge of things. Fatherhood is all about leadership and that’s not the same thing as being an oppressive, demanding autocrat. Being a dad means that members of your household look to you for direction, and, if you’re honest, it’s overwhelming to consider the cost of family leadership — as it should be.

Perfect Love: Why I’m a Methodist
Monday Jun 13, 2022
Monday Jun 13, 2022
You will experience the first of five messages in a series called “Perfect Love.” The series will focus on John Wesley’s concept of Perfecting Grace. These messages will help you better understand the unique nature of the Methodist movement; find inspiration for reclaiming the key Wesleyan doctrine of entire sanctification, and to discover how you can embrace and experience perfect love in your own life. The primary assertion Sunday is that the church family will be far less susceptible to the pandemic of secular-humanistic religion when its members devote themselves to discipleship and sanctification.
The primary resource material is Scripture, as always, and “Perfect Love: Recovering Entire Sanctification–The Lost Power of the Methodist Movement” by Kevin Watson. (www.seedbed.com/product/perfect-love).

Reversing Babel - 11:00
Monday Jun 06, 2022
Monday Jun 06, 2022
The story of Babel profoundly expresses sin’s power to separate humans from their Creator and from each other. After the fall of Adam, humanity fell prey to the corruption outside Eden and under the rule of Satan and his subjects. In time, the LORD fulfilled the Old Covenant through His Son, the Messiah, and introduced a New Covenant that reversed the curse of Babel. For The first time since the fall of Adam, God’s people could be truly holy again. Sin’s canceled power opened the way back to Eden. The miracle that briefly removed language barriers, so that everyone heard the Gospel in their own language, proved that God means to break down the cultural and ethnic division born at Babel. The chosen people of God are the Body of Christ wherever they dwell. Please join the family at Shiloh for a Pentecost celebration this weekend.
