The Glory of God

This week we join together with Christians around the globe to celebrate World Communion Sunday. It is a time to reflect upon the majesty of our Lord as His grace is revealed through the Eucharist. A table of peace and reconciliation will be set for the saints. We will also take a brief look at Psalm 19 and see once again that "The heavens are telling the glory of God. And all creation is shouting for joy!"

We resume the study from the Book of Job this Sunday. Our focus will be upon Job's grief and the good things his friends did for him. We will examine our own experiences with grief and consider what the Bible teaches about our best responses. This will be vital learning for everyday life.

This weekend we pause the series from the Book of Job to mark the end of our Jubilee Sabbath rest. We will ask and begin to answer the questions: What shall we plant now that we are re-entering the fields and the marketplaces? What will it yield? What will we need to bring in the harvest?
