We have journeyed from Christ's descent to be with and like us at Christmas, to His sacred plan to restore us to God’s favor at Easter, and now our invitation to ascend with and be like Christ. What an amazing day! How is it that we don’t take it more seriously?

The church at Philidelphia is truly blessed. In his letter to them Jesus essentially compares and contrasts them with Sardis - big, rich, pretentious verses small, poor, and humble. Jesus says they will hold fast and be a pillar in heaven.
